What Domestic Freight with Vividvforge Includes

Covering LTL consolidations, dedicated FTL, and temperature-sensitive movements across Canada.

Vividvforge's domestic freight service runs fixed-schedule lanes between Winnipeg and major centres in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Quebec. Both LTL (less-than-truckload) consolidations and dedicated FTL (full truckload) bookings are available, with transit times confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Every consignment is assigned a file number and scanned at origin, mid-route terminals, and destination. We handle dangerous goods documentation up to Class 3 and Class 8, and can arrange temperature-controlled units for perishable or pharmaceutical cargo. There are no fuel surcharge surprises: our quoted rate includes all accessorials unless you request changes after booking.

How the Domestic Freight Process Works

Four steps from booking to delivery — each one documented.

Step 1: Booking & Rate Confirmation

Submit your cargo details through the client portal or by phone. We confirm transit time, total rate, and file number within two business hours. No provisional quotes that change at collection — the confirmed rate is the invoiced rate.

Step 2: Collection & Documentation

Our driver arrives within the agreed collection window, completes a Bill of Lading on-site, and scans every piece against the consignment record. You receive a PDF copy by email before the truck leaves your dock.

Step 3: In-Transit Tracking

Shipments update at every terminal scan. The client portal shows current location, next scheduled checkpoint, and estimated arrival. Exception alerts fire automatically if a delay is detected — no need to chase for updates.

Step 4: Delivery & Proof of Receipt

At delivery, the consignee signs a digital Proof of Delivery. This document uploads to your portal file within 30 minutes and is retained for seven years. If damage is noted, the driver photographs the goods and flags the claim immediately.

What You Receive at the End

A complete documentation package and a direct claims contact if anything goes wrong.

Every closed domestic shipment file contains: original Bill of Lading, all terminal scan records, signed Proof of Delivery, and the final invoice broken down by line item. These are stored in your portal and available for download at any time. If a claim arises — shortage, damage, or delay — you contact your assigned coordinator directly; the average claims resolution time on our domestic network is 8 business days. We do not guarantee outcomes that depend on road closures, border crossing congestion, or acts of nature, but we commit to transparent, timely communication in every scenario.

“Our hardware distributor account needed consistent weekly LTL runs from Winnipeg to Calgary. Vividvforge quoted a fixed lane rate in November 2022, and it has not changed. Eleven months of deliveries, two exceptions both communicated proactively. We renewed without negotiation.”
